I photographed this crow along Puget Sound, where, for millenia, crows have had a relationship with people. Crows are intelligent problem-solvers, and have recently been found by scientists to have the ability to recognize and remember human faces. That said, they are wary of humans and maintain a discreet distance even though they live in close proximity to us.
