FOREST IMPRESSIONS 1: Alder Grove in Winter
I have always loved impressionistic painting, so I've experimented through the years with various photographic techniques that give me a sense of that style of painting. I create this effect in the camera, not using software, so it has a more "real" sensibility to it. I took this photograph along the Clear Creek Trail in Silverdale, Washington; the trees are alders that have a coating of lichens and algae that gives them a green color.
Edition of 250, including all sizes and methods of printing.
