Great Falls of the Potomac: Olmstead Island, Side Channel and Falls

The Great Falls National Park spans the Potomac River between Maryland and Virginia, not far from Potomac, Maryland. A side channel to the Potomac, that is a series of small falls, separates Olmstead Island from the Maryland bank.
