Statement of Rights and Responsibilities

This Statement of Rights and Responsibilities (“Statement”) governs the relationship between PrintedArt.com (“PrintedArt”) and the users of its website. Some rights might only be granted to certain privileged users. By logging in to PrintedArt, you agree to this Statement.

Content


Any content uploaded to PrintedArt must be your own and free of any claims by third parties. You retain the copyright to any content you upload and control its usage. By uploading content to PrintedArt, you grant PrintedArt a non-exclusive, sub-licensable, transferable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any intellectual property that you post. This license will terminate when you delete the content from your account.
 By way of exception to this section, any images submitted by photographers to the PrintedArt collection are governed by a separate agreement, which will supercede this section. Similarly, images uploaded to the photolab are not subject to this license, but are uploaded for the sole purpose of a one-time print order and shall not be used otherwise by PrintedArt.

Any uploaded content needs to be in compliance with the laws of the United States. PrintedArt reserves the right to reject content if we find it to be pornographic, hateful, violent or threatening, or for any other reason.


If you wish to sell content through PrintedArt’s eCommerce channels, you must guarantee proper ownership of the copyright for any items you attempt to sell. You also must indemnify PrintedArt for any copyright violations on your part. Certain channels on PrintedArt (for example, private collections) will be made available by invite or by application only and participation will be at PrintedArt’s sole discretion.


Registration


PrintedArt requires a user name that will be utilized during login and also as an identifier in URLs. We cannot make any guarantees about availability of specific names and will assign them on a first-come basis. We request that you use your real name for the publicly visible fields (identified as “first name” and “last name” in the registration form).


PrintedArt requires the use of a verified email address as the primary form of contact. Any communication concerning your account will be handled with this email address.
By registering an account with PrintedArt you confirm that your account details are accurate and up to date.


PrintedArt will not share any details of your account (except for the name) with third parties and will keep your contact information private.


Copyrights


PrintedArt does not attempt to validate any copyright claims. If you believe that any of the works on PrintedArt’s website infringe on your copyright, please let us know and we will take the appropriate action.



How to report copyright infringements:



If you do notice an infringement of your copyrights by others PrintedArt users, we ask that you contact legal@printedart.com with a link to the infringing material and the grounds for your dispute (reasons why you have a good faith belief that the offending party is not authorized to use the material). You will need to include your contact information including email and a phone number for us to follow up.


Limitations


PrintedArt will not share your personal information with third parties without your agreement.


You will not post any content that infringes on other’s rights or violates the law.


PrintedArt reserves the right to remove any content it perceives as violating this Statement.


You will not use any automated techniques to harvest information from PrintedArt or send messages to others (“spam”).


Any information you collect from other users requires their explicit consent.


Indemnification


You will indemnify PrintedArt for any intellectual property infringement claims based on the content you have uploaded.
